Q: Do you have a store I can visit? A: No, we don't (not yet, anyway ☺). We are currently operating in a commercial production space only. However, you are welcome to book a consultation in person to discuss and sample products (by appointment only - please contact).
Q: Do you deliver? A: Yes, delivery is available within the GTA at an additional cost. Delivery cost is $25 and up (depending on location). Please note that we do in person deliveries only! In other words, we won't deliver something and leave it on a doorstep. For events, we can arrange delivery to the venue.
Q: Do you ship your products? A: We can ship decorated sugar cookies via courier (FedEx) within Ontario. This is not a preferred mode of delivery, as damage may occur to the product in transit (although we do our best to package them in such a way to avoid this). Applicable shipping costs will be added to the total order amount. We do not ship cakes or cupcakes.
Q: Can you do gluten-free/nut-free/dairy-free products? A: We can create custom products which do not directly contain any gluten, nuts or dairy, but our products are made in a facility which uses all of these allergens regularly and use utensils and ovens that have come in contact with them. Therefore, we must add a disclaimer that the products may contain these. If you or someone who will be consuming our products has a severe food allergy, our products are not suitable.
Q: How far in advance do I need to place my order? A: For decorated sugar cookies and cupcakes, we recommend placing an order at least 3 weeks in advance of your event. For larger orders or wedding cakes, 3-4 months is recommended as we book up quickly during wedding season. We may be able to work around these times depending on availability, so please contact us to inquire. Please note that a 50% deposit is required to secure your order for the requested date, at the time of ordering.
Q: I found a photo of a cake online that I like. Can you recreate the cake for me? A: You are welcome to share photos of cakes that you found online to better illustrate what you are looking for, but they will serve as inspiration only. We will come up with something together with you that suits the needs of your event. We aren't comfortable reproducing creations from online photos, as a courtesy to other bakers and cake decorators.
Q: How do I pay for my order? A: An invoice will be sent to you electronically at the time of ordering. A 50% deposit is due at the time of ordering to secure your order date. We accept all major credit cards and Visa debit. You may make this payment online. A link to the payment page will be included in your electronic invoice. The remaining 50% is due upon receipt of your order.
